All Cindrich Elementary students have access to the learning commons. All students are allowed to sign out 2 books as long as they have returned their previous books. Kindergarten students are limited to signing out 1 book. In order to sign out any books students need to bring their book bags with them to the library. To replace a lost or damaged book bag students will be charged $1.00. If students have any overdue books or fines they will not be able to sign out books until they either pay the fine or return their overdue materials.
Book Care
It is important the students are taking well care of the books at home and at school. Students are encouraged to keep their library books inside their plastic bag. There should be no drinks or food near the books. Students should ensure that they are storing their school library books separate from their public library books. Overdue Books and Fines
Students are allowed to borrow materials from the library for a period of two weeks. They have the option to renew their item(s) as well. If a book is on hold by another student, they must return it within the two week period. Students will be charged a fine if their signed out book has been lost or damaged. In order to avoid a fee for a lost or damaged book ensure that your child is well aware of book care.
